(San Dimas)- Usually when a team goes long it comes with some play action, a biting free safety, and a bomb over the top of the defense.

Instead San Dimas on Friday went plus 50-yards three times in the first quarter on the ground and trampled visiting Ontario 56-21.

After Ontario’s Bryan Martinez put his team on top with a 17-yard run the Saints offense dropped into gear.

Daniel Joseph went 73-yards to paydirt. Quarterback Mick Kalmar busted loose for a 71-yard score and with 1:27 remaining in the quarter Nico Barbone went 52-yards to make it 21-7.

San Dimas’ Erek Brown scored on a more conventional six-yard run to start the second quarter.

The Jaguars Herman Quizo added a four-yard run to keep it close for the moment, but the moment past when Kalmar found Trey Evans for a 30-yard touchdown just before the half.

In the third Joseph went 55-yards to open things. Barbone went in from nine-yards and it was 49-14 San Dimas.

In the fourth Quizo scored again for Ontario on a one-yard run, but Brown went the distance for the Saints from 61-yards out to close the scoring.

San Dimas, 4-0, hit the 56 point total for the second time this year (they scored 48 against Montclair), will take next week off before taking the field against Bonita on October 10th in its annual battle for the Smudge Pot.

  The Jaguars fell to 1-3.
